A beautiful antique plate by Davenport c1840. The plate features a blue and white design of Daffodils, Flowers and a Ladybird. The handles have gold handpainted highlights on them. I think this plate was possibly a dinner plate when it was fashionable to have the servants bring in the already loaded plate and the handles stopped their fingers going in the food. Would also be a perfect serving platter or cake plate. In very good condition; there are a couple of small chips and a firing crack underneath which are not noticeable from the front (see photos).
