A beautiful early lidded tureen by Mason's Ironstone dating to c1815. The tureen has an Oriental inspired design of a floral garden and has rabbit head handles to the sides and decorative finial on the lid. There are gilded areas throughout the design and there is a slight lustre to the glaze. There is a very old stapled repair to the lid which can only be seen from underneath. Otherwise the tureen is in excellent condition with just some slight rubbing to the gilding.
