A beautiful antique buckle in a purple guilloche enamel with white enamelled edge on gilt metal. This buckle may have been worn on a green silk belt in support of the Suffragette movement whose colours were green, white and violet (Give Women Votes).
Guilloche enamel is very delicate but this buckle is in perfect condition.
