A very pretty antique silver topped hair saver or hair collector. The body is hobnail cut glass and the silver lid is decorated with repousse roses and swirls and is made by Colen Cheshire and hallmarked for Chester 1909. The saver is in excellent condition with just some small dents on the lid and the lid has been slightly compressed in one area (please see highlighted photographs). The silver lid weighs 31 grammes.
