An early 20th Century cut glass beer stein with a handpainted enamelled lid with flower design.
The whole item is excellent quality with heavy cut glass body, star cut base, a pewter lid topped by the floral porcelain panel. There is lovely wear to the glass bottom showing that it has been picked up and put down over many years. The stein is in great condition with just a tiny chip on the rim by the handle; it is covered by the lid.
